Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and Republicans in the state have delivered another huge win to secure the future of our country by making it more difficult for the Communists…er, Democrats…to ever win back control.
On Wednesday – the same day the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that all of these Democrat congressional districts down South drawn to enhance the votes of racial minorities were unconstitutional – DeSantis gave Democrats another reason to panic: He signed off on redistricting legislation that should hand Republicans another four seats in the House.
DeSantis and Florida Republicans had zero fear. They brushed off threats from the Domestic Terrorism Party and Hakeem Temu Obama and passed a map that more reflects the state’s political leanings, especially after having been shafted by Joe Biden’s Census Bureau in undercounting Florida’s population in 2020 and giving blue states an overinflated count, thereby overinflating their congressional representation:
“We are not going to be COWED by threats from some MACHINE politician from Brooklyn. It doesn’t work that way down here, that’s not how we ROLL!”
“He’s threatening Florida! ‘oh, you do the redistrict, we’re going to come down, we’re going to get you guys!’ All this stuff. GO AHEAD, MAKE MY DAY, BRING IT ON!”
“I would like nothing BETTER than to have him campaigning all across Florida. I don’t know that he would do well here, I don’t know he would do well almost anywhere in Florida, and I don’t think that’s something that Floridians would want to see.”
“The legislature’s ready to go, they’re going to get the job done, we got a lot of other stuff in addition to that issue.”
